joseph's coat

Joseph's Coat, a community clothes closet, was opened in June, 2004. Our goal is to provide free clothing to Interfaith Hospitality Network families and people in need.

Staffed by the participating churches on a rotating basis, Joseph's Coat is open the second Tuesday and last Saturday of each month. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

If you are in need of clothing or are aware of someone needing clothing at other times, please call Messiah Lutheran's church office at 866-4386 and someone will contact you.

Volunteers are always needed, and appreciated, to sort and hang clothing.

Donations of GOOD, CLEAN clothing are accepted at Joseph's Coat on the designated days we are open. Donations may also be delivered to the partnering churches: St. Pius X, Seton Parish and Parkview Presbyterian.  Please do not leave donations outside at Joseph's Coat.

Winter clothing is being accepted at the present time. Items of clothing most needed include: jeans, pants, shirts, sweaters, new underwear, socks, sweats, coats, gloves, hats, etc. Good used shoes and boots are accepted.  Children's clothing. socks and underwear are always needed.

Joseph's Coat is located on the grounds of Luther Haus at 1160 Waggoner Road, Reynoldsburg. For more information, please leave your name and telephone number with Messiah Lutheran Church at 614-866-4386.
